| The following description of a modified radical mastectomy was prepared in one minute using this software by a pathologist who has no expertise in typing: Received fresh is left radical mastectomy specimen measuring 12x9x9 cms. The medial, lateral, superior, inferior, and deep resection margins are inked black. On serial sectioning, there is one firm area. This area measures 4x3x1.5 cms., and is located 1.4 cms from the medial (nearest) resection margin in the LI Quadrant. Sections from the superior, inferior, medial, lateral, and posterior (deep) margins are submitted as A to E respectively. A section from the skin is submitted as F. Random sections from the upper inner, upper outer, lower inner, and lower outer quadrants of the breast are submitted as G and H, I and J, K and L, and M and N respectively. A section from the nipple is submitted as O. Sections from the lesional area are submitted as P to S. Sections from level I lymph nodes (lower half of axilla) are submitted as: T to V.
